German engineering conglomerate Siemens has selected Associated British Port's (ABP) Hull development to build what will be Britain's first major offshore wind turbine manufacturing plant.

Contracting demand rises again
As reported by Contract Calculator, Contracting demand rose again in December for the seventeenth successive month, and growth in contracting job vacancies has accelerated to a six-month high, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC)/KPMG Report on Jobs for December 2010.
