Engineering Shift Manager: We are looking to speak with quality engineers to join this leading pharmaceutical organisation. Reporting directly to the process managers within the site engineering organisation, the Engineering Shift Manager will manage, monitor and improve the engineering support function through a team of shift engineers and drive continuous improvement.

Engineering Shift Manager - key duties:

• Performance management of shift production engineers to improve functional skill levels
• Clearly communicate and liaise with Manufacturing managers, engineering shift managers and shift engineers to ensure all maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current safety regulation and site health and safety policies
• Ensure all work is carried in accordance with cGMP FDA and MHRA standards
• Review all maintenance procedures and through applying TPM principles establish a system for tracking, reporting and improving equipment downtime
• Develop and maintain a system for monitoring Health and Safety problems related to equipment design and maintenance

Engineering Shift Manager - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge of TPM techniques and track record of improving equipment uptimes
• Exceptional communication and man management skills with a specific emphasis on performance management
• Ability to take control of financial performance for the department
• Fully conversant with current HSE legislation
