Mechanical Design Engineer: This medical devices company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their South Wales based manufacturing team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will take an important role within the organisation, joining on either an initial contract basis or permanent member of staff.

Mechanical Design Engineer - key experience and skills:

• Strong background with SolidEdge within electro-mechanical design
• Comprehensive experience in product design, ideally electro-mechanical
• Ability to research and develop innovative mechanical designs from concept to production release, including conducting feasibility studies, tests and evaluations
• Knowledge of the full life cycle design process
• Understanding of product testing and standards compliance challenges
• Good knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
