Process Engineer: This exceptional manufacturing company is looking for a Process Engineer with a strong understanding of 6 sigma to join their Cambridge based team. The Process Engineer will take a key role from the outset taking responsibility for a range of duties to include process improvement, benchmarking equipment performance, data analysis and the design and development of manufacturing process equipment.

Process Engineer - key responsibilities:

• Conducting process improvement, logging process change, creating SOPs and training production managers/operators in new processes
• Transferring processes on time and with minimal disruption to the business
• Interpreting data to support process improvement
• Participate in product design projects to ensure design for manufacture requirements are met
• Developing and maintaining key relationships with various production managers / operators and R&D Engineering personnel

Process Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Solid academic background including an Engineering degree qualification
• Comprehensive experience in manufacturing / engineering
• Excellent data analysis skills - experience of statistical process control
• Strong understanding of 6 sigma
• - Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
