Process Engineer - This well known leading organisation is seeking a highly experienced Process Engineer to join their Newcastle based site. The Process Engineer will take a critical role from the outset, reporting directly to the Process Engineering Manager and assuming responsibility for establishing process requirements to optimise the manufacturing method required to meet and exceed client expectations.

Process Engineer - key responsibilities and duties:

• Generate manufacturing specifications
• Provide the production department all required information to carry out manufacturing operations
• Anticipate and respond to company need for tooling and equipment
• Establish process design rules and tools
• Identify and promote improvements in manufacturing processes
• Produce all corresponding reports, specifications and analysis
• Day to day trouble shooting / problem solving

Process Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Solid educational background - a degree qualification in mechanical design or a closely related discipline is absolutely essential
• Comprehensive experience in a Process Engineer capacity
• Proven background in a project based heavy engineering manufacturing environment
• Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Mathcad and Autocad/Inventor
• Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills
