QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician - We are looking for a QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician to join this leading specialist medical devices company. The QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician will essentially take responsibility for providing assistance, support and direction in order to ensure compliance to internal processes. The QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician will also become involved in improvement programmes and process development within manufacturing and other key areas.

QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician - key responsibilities:

• Carry out audits within manufacturing to ensure effectiveness of processes within the Business Management System
• Calibration of test and assembly equipment
• Identify, suggest and assist in the implementation of products and processes
• Work closely with manufacturing to ensure processes are compliant with internal procedures
• Assist in the implementation of improvements to the Asset Management process
• Prepare and complete all necessary corresponding paperwork

QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Solid educational background, ideally qualified to ONC level or equivalent in an engineering based discipline
• Proven QC background within an electro-mechanical production environment
• Competent IT skills
• Firm understanding of equipment calibration
• Experience of lean manufacturing principles would be an advantage
• Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Self motivated and dedicated
• QC Technician / Quality Control / Manufacturing Technician
