Quality Engineer - We are looking to speak with a Quality Engineer to join this leading manufacturing business in the Cambridgeshire area. The Quality Engineer will take responsibility for monitoring and continually improving supplier quality whilst also taking a key role in driving communication and correspondence between various decisions within the organisation including Quality, Procurement, Logistics and R&D.

Quality Engineer - key responsibilities:

• Carry out supplier audits and make recommendations on their suitability
• Drive corrective and preventive actions
• Implement KPIs and ongoing review processes
• Support and evaluate the supply base
• Define and implement best practice processes

Quality Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Comprehensive experience in a Quality Engineer capacity
• Proven background in Supplier Quality Management (SQM)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or under own initiative
• Lead Auditor qualified - Quality and Environmental Systems
• Six Sigma qualified (green or black belt)
