Quality Manager: This exceptional and leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a Quality Manager to join their Lancashire based team.The Quality Manager will take responsibility for planning, directing and leading the implementation of the appropriate systems, processes and procedures to ensure the Quality registrations, QA/QC systems, procedures and specifications are managed, developed and maintained.

Quality Manager - Key responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and manage the QC / AQ team and Laboratory infrastructure
• Lead all manufacturing, selling and customer specifications on a global basis to meet the needs of customers (internal and external)
• Manage and implement the quality systems and procedures
• Work closely with Quality, Technical and Business Managers to manage manufacturing procedures and systems to achieve and maintain ISO 13485:2003
• Manage, co-ordinate and effectively lead other Quality personnel within the business
• Integrate all new production plants and products in to the QC/QA function

Quality Manager - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Solid academic background including a degree qualification in a relevant discipline
• Advanced statistical techniques - 6 sigma or other (DOE, Regression analysis)
• Ideally applicants will be a Member of a Chartered Quality Institute and a Lead Auditor with a comprehensive knowledge of QA systems
• Certification as an ISO13485 and ISO9001 auditor
• Exceptional man management, communication and written / verbal skills
• Ability to work equally efficiently under initiative and as part of a wider team
