Senior Buyer: An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Buyer to join this leading medical devices company.Joining an established team, the Senior Buyer can expect to take a key role within a company providing cutting edge innovation and solutions for specific medical disorders.

Senior Buyer - key responsibilities:

• Negotiating terms with suppliers
• Implementation of the purchasing tactics plan
• Maintaining an order profile with suppliers
• Monitoring suppliers performance in terms of quality, cost and delivery
• Working and making decisions in conjunction with the company's purchasing strategy

Senior Buyer: qualifications, skills and experience:

• Comprehensive industry work experience, Previous experience as a Senior Buyer or with an extensive track record in Purchasing and Procurement.
• Experience of working in a Purchasing department in a manufacturing company
• Solid academic background including a degree qualification in engineering, science or the equivalent work experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate events and meetings
• Some sales experience would be a distinct advantage
