Senior Quality Engineer - We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading medical devices manufacturing organisation in Wales. Reporting directly to the divisional Quality and Safety Manager the Senior Quality Engineer will take an important role from the outset, assuming responsibility for a range of duties involving the supplier management process and ensuring compliance with the relevant standards.

Senior Quality Engineer - key responsibilities and duties:

• Manage the supplier management process to ensure compliance with the MDD
• Conduct internal audits against ISO 13485 and manage audits
• Support the cleanroom to ensure all relevant standards are maintained
• Produce monthly reports of KPIs and performance reports
• Liaise with various departments throughout the business to assess and improve internal quality
• Manage the supplier complaints process

Senior Quality Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Comprehensive experience in a Quality Engineer capacity
• Previous experience in the medical devices sector
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Medical Devices Directive and ISO 13485
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of SPC and continuous improvement techniques such as Lean is essential
• Proven background in auditing suppliers
