Senior Consultant: This exceptional medical devices company is looking for a Senior Consultant to take an important role and make a significant contribution to the design and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects in the surgical and interventional devices field. Combining high levels of technical skill and leadership ability, the Senior Consultant will quickly become an integral member of the division\'s future development plans.

Senior Consultant - Key accountabilities:

• Leading multi-disciplinary project teams consisting scientists, engineers, designers etc
• Acting as a technical representative on behalf of the client
• Support and actively contribute to the divisional and company business development plans
• Develop relationships with clients / potential clients using deep technical know-how to underpin and cement these relationships
• Writing accurate proposals and hold technical workshops to demonstrate a clear understanding of client needs
• Project Management of device development projects
• Root cause analysis and leadership of problem solving

Senior Consultant - qualifications and experience:

• Strong academic background including an excellent first degree in an engineering or science based discipline
• A firm understanding of medical device development compliance including ISO13485 and Quality System Regulation
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical devices with experience within a surgical products or medical device company
• Proven practical track record of working within an engineering design environment
• Highly self motivated, driven and enthusiastic
• Strong team leader
• Any manufacturing experience would be a considerable advantage
