Senior Software Engineer: Working within the new product development department, the Senior Software Engineer will take a critical role within this Oxfordshire based medical company. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for a range of activities to assist the growth of the business and improve productivity.
Senior Software Engineer - key responsibilities:
- Development of software system architecture
- Input to risk analysis
- Producing software requirements specifications
- Failure mode analysis of software
- Acceptance testing of the software
Senior Software Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience
- Qualified to HNC or degree level in Software design, electronics with an embedded software element or computing
- Comprehensive commercial experience as a software engineer
- Experience as a lead engineer, system architecture designer or senior software designer
- Solid practical experience programming in C and for real time systems
- Ideally, candidates will have some experience of working within a medical devices manufacturer
