Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer: This exceptional software company is looking for Software Engineers to join their dedicated Cambridge based software team. The engineers will rapidly become involved in the design of embedded firmware and drivers for new product lines and make a key contribution to the progression of the business.
Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer - key responsibilities:
- Working closely with a specific team to refine the design and performance models
- Developing firmware and drivers to help validate the design
- Help to progress the completion of the production firmware and drivers
Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:
- PhD, first class or 2:1 degree qualification from a top university
- Comprehensive commercial experience
- Highly proficient in C
- Superior knowledge of hardware / software architecture issues, Linux Kernel and device drivers
- Ideally, candidates will also have some knowledge of other technologies such as server system architectures, Ethernet, embedded systems or/and PCI-Express
