Software Test Engineer - We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join this leading manufacturing organisation in Sussex. The Software Test Engineer will assume responsibility for leading the design, development and implementation of the test process . Working alongside the R&D team, the Software Test Engineer will assist in the creation of Test Specification, writing the software and embedding this within test hardware.

Software Test Engineer - key responsibilities:

• Design, write and implement test processes
• Developing test harnesses / specifications
• Coding and programming in C, C++, C#
• Testing of software
• Taking the role of test architect and developing new test platforms
• Produce corresponding test documents and regular reports in line with KPI\'s

Software Test Engineer - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Good educational background including an HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics Engineering / Software Engineering
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, C#, MS-DOS languages
• Comprehensive practical test experience and use of tools such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, frequency counters etc
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read schematic diagrams
