System Test Team Lead: This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join a superb Cambridgeshire based technology company.Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Test Engineer will take a critical role in the software development lifecycle, ensuring the company is always pushing their technologies to the limit.

The System Test Engineer will take responsibility for a 5-6 strong test team incorporating:

• Defining detailed test plans
• Day to day line management
• Completion of agreed test cases to schedule
• Generation of reports on test progress

This is an important addition to the team, as the System Test Team Lead will have a large influence over the progression of software from the engineering department through to Quality Assurance.

System Test Team Lead - qualifications, skills and experience:

• Solid academic background including a first class or 2:1 degree from a well positioned university
• Comprehensive software test experience
• An in depth understanding of operating system concepts, software design
• Exceptional communication / interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to learn new skills quickly
• Critically, the ability to lead a team to deliver software to schedule
